Where are Economics books located?

Most economics books are located in the H - HJ call-number range on the 6th - 7th floor. The Library catalogue includes the titles of books, periodicals and audiovisual materials held by the Library. Search  by author, title, subject and by keyword ( if you do not have a specific author or title of a book and you do not know the Library of Congress subject heading)

From the Library's homepage (library.torontomu.ca) you can use either Search Everything (the search box in the middle of the homepage) or by clicking the tab called “Books & Media” on our home page.

Finding E-Books

The TMU Library provides access to over 400,000 ebooks which can be read in a browser on your laptop or desktop computer. To find ebooks, you can look for them in the library catalogue by author, title, subject, etc.

Search by TITLE

You can limit search results by material type “ebook”.

 

Looking up Course Readings

From the Library Catalogue, you can locate under COURSE READINGS  books that are placed on Reserve by instructors. These are called Print Reserve items for short-term loans. 

Instructors can also assign e-books or chapter(s) of books. Links to e-books or scanned documents are made accessible, as "E-Reserve" items, from within the course. Log into your D2L Brightspace course and check under the Resources or Content tab for the link to One Stop Course Readings
