Business Law and Practice

The Canadian Business Law Journal (CBLJ) was established in 1974 to provide Canadian lawyers with a written forum for discussion of current developments in all branches of Canadian business law. Since then, it has also expanded into the international arena. Each issue includes both commentary on current legislative and case law developments and in-depth analysis of major issues in the corporate, commercial and international arenas. The Asper Review of International Business and Trade Law provides reviews and articles on developments in the areas of international trade, business, and economy. The Asper Review covers legal developments within public and private law, as well as relevant topics within economics and geo-politics.

In 2021 the Asper Review of International Business and Trade Law ceased publication in 2021 (vol. 21) and merged into Manitoba Law Journal in 2023 (vol 45:3).

The leading publication for Canadian competition law and economics, the Canadian Competition Law Review is a peer-edited review published twice annually by the CBA Competition Law and Foreign Investment Review Section.
