How to read academic writing

Reading academic texts is a skill that one develops over time. We are accustomed to reading in a linear, top-to-bottom fashion. When you are reading something for a class, or to help you with a research assignment, you need to approach your reading a bit differently. The following are a few resources that will cover different approaches to reading while at university.
