Hello! I'm the librarian to contact for assistance with Art, Photography, Integrated Digital, New Media, Digital Media, Documentary Media and Film & Photographic Preservation. For helpful research tips and resources on these subjects, please visit the online guides below.
I'm also the Special Collections librarian and I invite you to visit our website (www.archives.library.ryerson.ca) or drop by our reading room on the 4th floor of the library to see what kind of material we have available.
Research help and assistance navigating the library's resources are available in the library at the Research Help Desk, and online using the Ask a Librarian Chat service. Please visit the Research Help section of the library's website to learn more about these services.
I'm also available to meet with students, individually or in small groups, to assist them with their research or assignments on these topics. These meetings usually last about 30 minutes and can help you clarify your topic, find useful resources, and learn successful search techniques.
You can email me to make a research appointment. Make sure to include some information on your research question.
Faculty are encouraged to contact me to arrange in class sessions for students on navigating subject or assignment specific library resources, search strategies, citation management, literature reviews, information literacy, primary source research, image research, and a variety of other research topics. Class visits to the special collections and assignments based on our collections can also be arranged.
