Our mandate is to publish feminist legal scholarship that critically examines the intersection of gender with one or more axes of subordination, including, but not limited to, race, class, sexual orientation, and disability. - Tulane Journal of Law & SexualityFounded in 1991, the Tulane Journal of Law & Sexuality: A Review of Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity in the Law is the first student-edited law review in the country devoted solely to covering legal issues of interest to the LGBTQ+ community. The Journal is also the official legal journal of the National LGBT Bar Association.
- Transgender Studies Quarterly
Transgender Studies Quarterly publishes interdisciplinary scholarship that explores the diversity of gender, sex, sexuality, embodiment, and identity in ways that have not been adequately addressed by feminist and queer scholarship. Its mission is to foster a vigorous conversation among scholars, artists, activists, and others that examines how “transgender” comes into play as a category, a process, a social assemblage, an increasingly intelligible gender identity, an identifiable threat to gender normativity, and a rubric for understanding the variability and contingency of gender across time, space, and cultures.

LGBTQ+ Source contains all of the content available in LGBT Life as well as full text for more than 140 of the most important and historically significant LGBTQ+ journals, magazines and regional newspapers, plus full text for 150 monographs/books. The database includes comprehensive indexing and abstract coverage as well as a specialized LGBTQ+ Thesaurus containing over 10,000 terms.
- HeinOnline's LGBTQ+ RightsThis collection charts the gay rights movement in America, showing the civil rights codified into law in the 20th and 21st centuries, as well as the inequalities that still exist today. All titles in this collection have been assigned one or more title-level subjects relating to their scope, and are further divided into six subcollections, whose areas of focus constitute Marriage and Family, Employment Discrimination, Military Service, AIDS and Health Care, and Public Spaces and Accommodations. A separate subcollection, Historical Attitudes and Analysis, presents books, pamphlets, reports, and more from the 18th century through the mid-20th century. Content in this subcollection includes accounts of individuals criminally tried for their sexuality to attempts to find a medical cause for homosexuality.
