Researching a company's costumers, or consumer behaviour in a particular industry is a critical step in being prepared for an interview, and a sure way to stand out from other applicants. It helps you to be clear on what services/products the company provides and to whom. You will be able to better engage in conversation in the interview, and ask thoughtful questions demonstrating not only that you are interested and engaged, but prepared.
