Labour and Employment Law

About this Guide

This is a guide to the labour and employment law materials available through the TMU Library for students, faculty, and staff.

Encyclopedias are a good starting point for business law research. The Canadian Encyclopedic Digest and Halsbury's Laws of Canada include links to relevant primary sources such as case law and legislation.

Books are available on a variety of labour and employment law topics, as are practice materials such as precedents, checklists, and commentary.

For more on legal databases, case law, legislation, and scholarly journal articles see the Law Research Guide

Book a Research Help Appointment

Research help is available for students, faculty, and staff of TMU with legal research questions.

For one-on-one assistance in refining a legal research topic, finding legal information, and using databases and other resources, book a research appointment. Email the law librarians or book a time directly in their calendars during office hours:

Email: for general inquiries, please email lawlibrary@torontomu.ca for assistance with accessing or using legal information resources and one of the Law Library staff will respond to you.
