Starting your search
TMU Libraries brings you access to books, videos, peer-reviewed journals and so much more with insight from world's top scholars, all accessible through our far-reaching Omni search system. No research is complete without sources and evidence, so be sure to take advantage of these search tools to discover journal titles and gain access to articles which will elevate your next assignment.
As a TMU student, you have full access to TMU's extensive subscription collection, and through Omni, can also connect to the collections of 18 other Omni-affiliated universities around Canada.
To use Omni, navigate to the TMU Libraries website, and look for the search bar in the middle of the page. For best results, be sure to sign in to your TMU account before you search.
Not sure how to get started? Try keywords relating to your topic, or search for a title directly. Once you have begun your search, use the filter bar on the left side: you can expand your search to non-TMU libraries, or can narrow your search by format, peer review, and date, among many others.
For more advanced searching across a more targeted set of resources, try a discipline-specific indexing/abstracting database or collection.
