Stocks

The World Federation of Stock Exchanges is the global trade association for regulated exchanges worldwide. It offers links to member exchanges, publications, research, and annual, monthly, and time-series data.

CFMRC TSX on CHASS
Provides daily and monthly Toronto Stock Exchange data on securities, price adjustments (e.g., dividends, stock splits), and financial market indexes.
Factiva
To view stock price activity, go to Company Snapshot in the top menu, and select Market Data Charts from the dropdown.
CRSP/Compustat Merged (CCM) Database on WRDS
The CRSP/Compustat Merged (CCM) database combines CRSP market and corporate action data with Compustat fundamental data. TMU subscribers can access quarterly updates through the WRDS platform.

TMX Money

TMX Money provides free access to basic market data, including real-time stock quotes, charts, and financial news. You can also access historical data and market insights at no cost.

View or download the latest and historical data for bond yields, marketable bond average yields, and selected benchmark bond yields.

Includes government bond information for Canada, the US, and other countries.

Lists the outstanding debt securities issued by Canadian incorporated companies, both public and private, along with their features and provisions.

Bonds Government - Financial Post HG5155.G682

Information on Canadian federal and provincial debt, including public offerings and private placements.

Mergent Annual Bond Record - HG4651.M66

Get detailed information on various types of bonds, including corporate, government, municipal, and international bonds. It also covers structured finance, equipment trust issues, medium-term notes, convertible bonds, preferred stocks, and commercial paper.

FINRA Fixed Income

Data on bond markets, including real-time and historical pricing, trading volumes, and yields for U.S. Treasuries, municipal bonds, corporate bonds, and more.

TRACE data

via WRDS The Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine (TRACE) provides transaction data for all eligible corporate bonds, including investment grade, high yield, and convertible debt.

Capital IQ
To find fixed income data and information, input your company name in the search bar, go to the company profile page, and click on the “Fixed Income” link in the left-hand menu. To access, you will need to register for an account using your TMU credentials - it’s fast and easy to do.
Current Toronto Metropolitan students and faculty must register with a valid Toronto Metropolitan email address in order to access Capital IQ and Capital IQ Pro

For Capital IQ, follow these instructions to complete the self-registration process.

For Capital IQ Pro:
- Go directly to the S&P Capital IQ Pro sign-in page and select “New User Sign Up”
- You must use your TMU email when setting up your account. A security token will be sent to your TMU email which you will need to enter to complete your account registration.
- You will receive a new security token each time you use the platform.
