Child Care and Early Education Research Connections 

A comprehensive and easily searchable collection of more than 10,000 resources from the many disciplines related to child care and early education. It includes journal citations, reports, papers, fact sheets, briefs, executive summaries, datasets, instruments and measures. Selective full-text is available.

Recommended Journals

Journal of Interprofessional Care

Aims to disseminate research and new developments in the field of interprofessional education and practice. Areas of practice covered include primary, community and hospital care, health education and public health, and beyond health and social care into fields such as criminal justice and primary/elementary education.

Journal of Research in Interprofessional Practice and Education (JRIPE)

An open access journal that disseminates theoretical perspectives, methodologies and evidence-based knowledge to inform interprofessional practice, education and research to improve health care delivery, quality of care and health status for individuals, families and communities.

Health and Interprofessional Practice (HIP)

Peer-reviewed, open access journal dedicated to increasing the availability of high-quality evidence to inform patient care and practitioner education from an interprofessional perspective. HIP is aimed at academics, practitioners and student-practitioners who seek to become more knowledgeable and skilled at working with providers in other health disciplines to provide compassionate, quality, integrated care.

Advances in Medical Education and Practice

International, peer-reviewed, open access journal that aims to present and publish research on Medical Education covering medical, dental, nursing and allied health care professional education. The journal covers undergraduate education, postgraduate training and continuing medical education including emerging trends and innovative models linking education, research and health care services.

Family Medicine 

Official journal of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, publishes original research, systematic reviews, narrative essays and policy analyses relevant to the discipline of family medicine, particularly focusing on primary care medical education, health workforce policy and health services research. Journal content includes innovative, high-quality contributions from authors in a variety of specialties and academic fields.

Disability and Health Journal

Scientific, scholarly and multidisciplinary journal for reporting original contributions that advance knowledge in disability and health. The focus is public health, health promotion, health education, wellness and prevention, reducing the incidence of secondary conditions and medical conditions.

Child and Adolescent Social Work Journal

Focuses on clinical social work practice with children, adolescents and their families. The coverage addresses current issues in the field of social work drawn from theory, direct practice, research and social policy. The range of topics includes problems affecting a variety of specific populations in special settings.

Workplace Health and Safety
