Business Cases

A guide for locating business case studies.

About this Guide

This guide is intended for faculty and instructors to help with locating case studies for teaching. For more information on library services and business cases, visit Permissions for Business Case Studies.

Omni Search

OMNI lets you search across the majority of the Libraries' articles, books, videos, etc. If you would like to search more specialized resources, try our A-Z list of databases and filter by subject.

Using Omni to Find Case Studies

To find case studies, try searching for the phrase “case studies” and use the Boolean operator AND to help you find case studies specific to your topic. For example:

“business ethics” AND “case studies”

You can replace “business ethics” with other keywords related to your topic, like “entrepreneurship”, “organizational behaviour”, or “tourism”.

  • For the most relevant results, set the Sort By filter on the left to Relevance.
  • Use the Publication Date filter on the left to choose when you want your case study published.
  • Use the Resource Type filter to search for specific formats, e.g. books and ebooks, or to hide the formats that you don’t want to see in your results.

Your search will retrieve case studies, but could also retrieve articles, books, and other items on the topic of case studies.

Fair Dealing
A copy of a short excerpt from a copyright-protected work may be provided or communicated to each student enrolled in a class or course.
