Many of the resources in this guide are purchased by Toronto Metropolitan University Library, and due to licensing restrictions are only available to current students (including full, part-time, continuing education students), staff, and faculty. This page features quality resources that are freely available for anyone to use. In addition, Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching resources have the added benefit of being Creative Commons licenced, which means you reuse with more flexibility. SUNY (State Universities of New York) has developed a search tool that currently searches content from 98 different sources and contains over 350,000 records (as of January 2020).
George Mason University Libraries, in conjunction with Deep Web Technologies, has created an OER Metafinder that simultaneously searches across 16 open repositories.
