Free and Open Resources
Many of the resources in this guide are purchased by Toronto Metropolitan University Library, and due to licensing restrictions are only available to current students (including full, part-time, continuing education students), staff, and faculty. This page features quality resources that are freely available for anyone to use. In addition, Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching resources have the added benefit of being Creative Commons licenced, which means you reuse with more flexibility. George Mason University Libraries, in conjunction with Deep Web Technologies, has created an OER Metafinder that simultaneously searches across 16 open repositories.
