In early 2025, Toronto Metropolitan University Libraries activated ORCID Affiliation Manager, a useful feature that promotes the adoption of ORCID across campus, and helps to forge affiliation links between faculty ORCID accounts and the institution.

With Affiliation Manager, you will see many benefits. The programme is designed to:

 Improve the visibility of your outputs and ensure researchers get the recognition they deserve

 Make it easy to share accurate and authoritative information about your affiliation with TMU

 Make it easy to share your research and career data with other systems, reducing administrative burden.

 Gain the benefits of having an ORCID, which makes it easy to sign in to other services, to publish papers and record research output, publish peer review activity, employment history and more.
